Alexandra Lansing co-created and continues to co-teach a class in the Industrial Design Department at MSU Denver. The curriculum explores discarded materials and ways designers can revive these materials into new products. Students dive into the complex subject of sustainability and designers' contribution to the problem (or solution) of waste.

"The best part of this class was the community engagement. Having the presenters come into class was great but having us contact local businesses for our final project was awesome. I think that is something sorely lacking in other classes. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, and it was worth it. Thank you both for the most challenging and unique class I've had so far."
