Alexandra Lansing co-created and continues to co-teach a class in the Industrial Design Department at MSU Denver.  The curriculum explores discarded materials and ways designers can revive these materials into new products.  Students dive into the complex subject of sustainability and designers' contribution to the problem (or solution) of waste.

In pursuit of Alexandra's teaching license in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education, she studied in the Master's degree program while teaching full time as a Reading, English as a Second Language, and Math teacher at Manny Martinez Middle School.  She also explored the works of Service Learning with her students at Manny.

Alexandra Liscia Lansing serves as Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for Scholars Unlimited, a program that  offers academic support and promotes positive youth development, through no cost, out-of-school programs for elementary-aged students (K-5th grade).
